eastern cape and east london..... sth africa

I'm leaving for a holiday in east London, which is situated, on the eastern cape I have done a google search [i also get google daily updates from east london via google ] and have read as much as I possibly can on the area, but I was just wondering if there was any one here in the forum who had been to the area and could tell me maybe a little bit more from their personal experience, concerning that particular part of south. Africa.any info at all would be appreciated.
