Need Help With A Riddle

"I am blind, yet I see. I am crippled, yet I walk. I am mute, yet I speak. What am I?"

My first guess on this was the Human Brain, but the person giving the riddle told me it was not the answer.. Confused

I'm not very good at riddles, but I really need help solving this one because it's important. Please help. :-)

I think it has something to do with a river. "Eye" of the river. How a river "runs" and "mouth" of a river. Not sure, but that's the best I could come up with.
