In my profile, I have the option "Always attach signature" set to "no". So why is it that the "attach signature" option is always checked when I make a post? I don't have anything in my signature, so it puts this unnecessary blank space after all my posts. Annoying. So how do I stop it from doing that?
Well since nobody is helping I guess I'll step in.
How about I help you write a signature?
Hmmmm... How's this?
" I'm so desperate to pick up chicks I'm learning Italian"
Work for you?....mmmphhhh
why not just unclick the 'attach signature box....? Or, use the post reply button to make posts. Would that work?
hnh, maybe non-sig-users just have that extra space
uhoh, now I lost my sig line!
Yeah, it just bugs me that I would have to unclick something when they have the option to not have a signature in my profile. Why have the option in your profile if it's going to default to "attach signature"? Is it an A2K glitch?
Now, how come I have a sig line AND all the extra space?
(I have to go now - another t-storm coming through....)
why pfft? I did lose it, I had to go rewrite it.
That one was just a test. It looks like I don't really have any extra space with the sig attached now. Maybe it's not putting extra space there after all.

I can only assume from observation that there is a space for a signature, whether you wish to utilize it or not. But I'm not sure of that... are you?
Go into your profile and delete your signature. If you want to have a possible signature, and just not one that's automatically attached, you can select that option as well, in your profile. Then, whenever you want to add a sig line, you'd just select "Attach signature".
