How much water to give to top-notch golden wax beans

Hi,
I am currently working on a project for school (to investigate how overcrowding affects the growth of plants). I have decided to use top notch golden wax beans, and I planted them yesterday. Right after planting, I also gave each pot 4 teaspoons of water. How often will I need to water each pot untill germination, and is 4 tsp of water enough? All thoughts are appreciated, thank you in advance!!
