When I first turned on A2K, I had the occasion to refresh the page. My unread posts went down to zero.
Then I noticed that there was a yellow triangle with an exclamation point, on the left side of the taskbar. There was something else that was very strange. Scrolling on the bottom of my taskbar (toolbar?- I never know the difference) is this:
HBDTY HBTDY HBDDA2K HBDTY
It starts from the middle of the screen and scrolls to the left. Then it pops up in the middle of the screen again.
When I turned A2K off and back on again, the triangle was gone, but the scrolling remains. It does not happen on other web pages.
Wassup?
Never mind.............I just found the explanation!
Happy Birthday, A2K!
Thanks, Squinney- I just saw your post!
Don't feel bad. A lot of us woke up to this and freaked until we knew what it was. Some thought it was a bug. I figured the kids had been on my computer again (BIG NO NO) and had downloaded some kinda new task bar or something.
As squinney said.
So you are the number four.
But really strange is: All questions threads about this are here in this fraction of the forum. Nevertheless nobody saw it.
The no posts part is due to a cleanup of the sessions database table I had to do last night.
Craven- Aha! Thanks for the explanation!
