I'll be visiting a few off grid locations this summer. I am acquiring an rv. I have neither experience with camper trailers or motorhomes. Searching for advice on an ideal vehicle for off grid travel and living on the road. Please advise.

@JivaDas,
I doubt any are designed specifically for that. If you intend to be stopped at off grid sites for more than a day or three, order or retrofit RV with 500 - 1000 W of solar panels, 1000 - 1500 watt inverter and 200 - 400 Amp Hours of battery storage. Fit the RV with all LED lighting and select low wattage appliances. LP for refrigeration is pretty standard.

That has been adequate for my off-grid cabin.

@JivaDas,
Be careful with that credit card transaction. It might hang in limbo for months.
