UNFOLLOW vs BLOCKING on FB

What's the difference? If I UNFOLLOW a FBF, will they get notified? Similarly if I BLOCK someone, will they get notified?

Neither. All they will notice with unfollowing is (maybe) the number of people following them went down. I doubt most people pay terribly close attention to that number.
