The following meme was posted to Facebook less then 20 minutes ago (from an a2k source that will not be named here).

It was course, fact checked by Snopes and found to be lacking in reality. FALSE: Donald Trump Said Republicans Are the "Dumbest Group of Voters"

These memes are funny and to some degree (the Trump one) ... satisfying because it feeds into the burn to burn the likes of #DonaldDrumpf but

Not everyone of these memes is obviously a joke like the infamous Abraham Lincoln meme below:

Given the dangerous nature of Trump and his followers, should we be handing them ammo fortifying their paranoid delusions? Or are these memes harmless?

Obviously it was always dumb to compare Trump to Hitler. It's more accurate to compare him to an African dictator like Mobutu. He did nothing to earn the wealth and power he has but he will do everything to retain it. Multiple bankruptcies, lawsuits, completely abandoning the casino industry. Like a dictator hurts his people to stay in power, Trump did the same to his employees and investors. Let's make this a meme. Trump is Mobutu. He'll love it! Razz

Yeppers. Good point.
Hitler? Decorated World War I veteran with various combat induced injuries;
Drumpf? Entitled draft dodger.

Hitler was a painter with some marginal artistic talent.
Drumpf? Look at the crap he puts his name on. He doesn't have a creative bone in his body.

Hitler has a nicer head of hair than Drumpf.
Hitler likely had debilitating syphilis since about 1908. That destructive neurological disease and his PTSD fed his megalomania which caused the world so much pain and suffering. What's Drumpf's potential excuse?

You are right as far as you go, but what about his appeal to the lowest common denominator. And what about clearing his audiences of potential protestors - like Blacks just as an example. Kind of like a Jew attending a 1938 Brown Shirt rally in Nuremberg in 1936, they probable ended up feeling excluded. The analogy isn't perfect but it seems somewhat informative.
