Convicted mass killer James “Whitey” Bulger has been disciplined in a Florida federal prison for sexual activity, according to a published report.

Bulger was caught masturbating by a guard in his prison cell

All sexual activity by inmates is banned, and Bulger was given 30 days in solitary confinement and deprived of email and commissary privileges for 120 days.

How the heck do they control that is prison?

That's just one of those bullshit rules so they can put you in stir for something else you did, but they didn't outright catch you.

I guess they have rules about making someone your bitch and ass raping them too.

Reading the whole story, the rule is in effect because prisoners were masturbating in public as a way of harassing prison workers. We don't know the conditions under which Whitey was caught.

Actually it says it was at night and he was caught so it doesn't seem like he wanted it known he said the lights are on in his cell all the time because of nightmares - also Whitey claims he was putting on medicine for an infection.

So it doesn't appear as if he was trying to harass anyone.

To be honest I think it was a way of punishing him just for his past deeds.
