They didn't just tell their problems to me; they told me all sorts of things, but-- after getting behind initial friendship and random questions-- many quickly moved onto troubles in their lives. I always like listening;I love people and their stories, 99% of the time. Although I spend a lot of time on my own quietly, I find it really awkward to pass time silently when there are friends there (unless, obviously, we are at something that requires silence.) But I just like to help, really.
