@manden,
And you think you are alone in that because...?
I probably have as well developed an ego as anyone here, but I am unable to convince myself that I'm the only one who 'sees God'.
I'm not a Jehovah's Witness but just for a moment let's pretend that they are right about the number of people who can see and 'get it'. That's 144,000.
If we divide the number of people who have lived on the earth (about 110,000,000,000 so far) that's about 1 out of every 78,000 people who opened their eye's and 'see'.
I, being an introvert, have perhaps met only 2000 people in my entire life. Out of those, I only known perhaps 50 of them well enough to have any hope of knowing their real beliefs about God. People tend to hold those thoughts pretty close to the vest.
So if the JW's are right, the chances of each of my acquaintances being one of those 144,000 is 1 in 78,000. So, That's about 50 chances in 78,000 or 1 chance in 1,560. Better chance than winning the lottery, but given the odds, definitely not good enough to say that I'm the only one (assuming I'm one of the 1 in 78,000 who gets it to begin with ).
So - what is your theory for determining that you're the only one?
Edit: I realized that I grossly overstated the chances of me meeting one of the people who 'See'. My calculations assumed that all 144,000 were alive during my lifetime which is of course, not true. Correcting for that error. my chance of meeting another 'seer' is only 1 in 25,514.
