Beach reading...errr..um...beach ? in UK ? Laughing

For my night time reading I am reading a white paper by Oracle Corp on 9iAS implementation !

To be honest, I dont get much time these days for night time reading, I am always carrying stuff from work which I don't find time to read during the day....

It is! Haven't you heard of the whole 'being paired with 9iASb implementation' subplot?

Just so ya know...
I have absolutely no sense of rhythm.

Grown men have blanched with fear when they see me dance, and run from the room, quaking.

But, I love to dance (you've heard of the different drummer theory, I take it?)

I love to sing, too, even though I can't hold a tune in a bicket.

I'd wear steel-capped shoes, if I were you - and ear plugs! Twisted Evil

Moving up, right now, to the music! Razz Confused Shocked

I can tango and waltz, but I can never dance to just normal, modernish music. Whenever I am dragged up to do so, I confess that I probably am worse than Margo has said that she is.

I tell people jokingly that I'm making a fashion statement, and that it's not how I'm dancing but how I'm not dancing that they should look for Laughing.

Is this the apparent bad dancers colloquy of folks who turn out to be good at it after all?

Yeh, me......

remembering the time I danced on the table at the Oar House on a Sunday when it was closed. Or played the drums at the Venice alley house... a matter I barely remember. Sigh, I was brought up shy, and wound in and out of that, still have remnants, but the remnants now are sort of earned... as I am not a good dancer or tune carrier. Just about as I was opening up to my own style I met and married another shy person who didn't dance.

Years later, I am not without thought and feeling, not a jerk, re movement, just sort of shut off. So, in certain circumstances of comfort, I can dance, not like Marakova, whoever, but as me.

Okay, go ahead, picture a corgi dancing on hind feet, that's me....

This might explain why my favorite avatar of all time is Craven's Dancing Girl, some form of me.

Good - good times - hafta apologise to Wildclickers though - I thought I would be able to get in to do that - realised I had left my team clicking url at home - tried to get into Abuzz to ask Beth to send it to me in an email - couldn't get Abuzz to let me in from another person's computer - grrrr - hey, you be in Canadia?

Wotcha up to - read any Canajun books?

I finally DID get the Singer book on Bush - plus another challenging modern thinking on psychosis - a short history of the world (for arguing with Setanta!) - a book on latest research re genes vs nurture.....

An a crap mystery novel - which is the one I am reading - grrrrr......WHAT is the lure of crap vs good stuff?

Fun?
