Really, you digital fellas, there's something wrong with the software. When I access an OP, all the attendant postings have been deleted

A link or other way of identifying what specifically you are referring to would help. What you posted is akin to the weather channel telling everyone to seek shelter because there is a tornado in the area without identifying which area it is located.
What are "attendant postings"?

Sorry Geo, "attendant" meaning "with." An OP or Original Posting is almost always followed by postings in response
