I thought I uploaded about a dozen photos yesterday but only a few have shown up.

I don't know if I did something wrong or if it just takes a while for the photos to show up, or, if there is a limit to the number of photos that can be posted.

I don't want to try again for fear of everything showing up twice.

How do I find out what happened to my AWOL photos?

Thank you for your help!

Hi Boomerang!

It'll take a day or too to get pics posted, it's somewhere to read in the TOS why! About where your AWOLpics are, I guess that a moderator can answer that Q!

Thanks bigdice!

I was a bit concerned since some of them posted and some did not. It sounds like I should be patient, so I will.

And I just remembered that if a pic has too high a resolution, it may not be posted at all, so keep them pics medium-res! Some people know how to make a pic postable, ask ehBeth or, lemme see... setanta, I think.

Also, the pics are approved by the administrators, and it may just be a matter of finding time to look at them.

Hi Phoenix!

I'm sure that I reduced the photos to 150K or less. Each time I submitted it said the files had been accepted, pending approval. I can't think of a reason anyone would object to them so I'm guessing that Phoenix is right and someone just needs to take a look at them.

Thank you, Phoenix. The photos are part of a new portfolio I'm working on. I have a thread open to elicit comments and criticisms (sorry, I'm still unsure of the linking process). Please join in or send some people that way, if you like. I really need some feedback!

Wow.

I know you're a professional and all, but WOW!

As someone who follows around a tot of the same age with my trusty Rebel, I know it's hard to get shots like that. Those are great.

Composition, expressions, color, focus... the whole package.

What sort of feedback are you looking for?

Of all of them, I liked the colorized one the least, but as a market niche, it was well done. Just not my taste.

Loved "giggle". :-D

(I need to experiment with B&W...)
