I don't know where you get these ideas.
This is a scripture to identify the Messiah. The middle of the week here mentioned is the Passover of 33 C.E. when Jesus sacrificed his life.The abomination has 2 fulfillments. The first being the time in 66 C.E. when the Roman armies breached the walls of the temple in Jerusalem. Their subsequent retreat allowed the Christians residing there to escape. They were heeding the warning of Matthew 24:15.

The Hebrew word that is translated here in Daniel is "yom" which indicates a significant period of time, not always
Perhaps the 1290 "yoms" of Daniel do not relate to days... some examples perhaps

In Genesis 1:5 Yom is referred to as a period of light, (12ish hours?)
It appears all six Yoms were referred to as a single yom in Genesis 2:4. (a week?)
In Genesis 4:3. Cains crops grew in a single Yom (a few months?)
In Genesis 43:9 Moses declares that he shall bare the blame for Yom (eternity?)

Im guessing that yom was used for the 1260 days too ? (i may be wrong)

But my guess is He meant days because His other reference to time (1260 days) happened and was spot on and right on time.
