Explosion rocks central Prague

A fire department official added in a telephone interview that 16 or 17 people are reported injured. He did not give any further details.

The blast occurred on Sunday in a shopping street located just off Wenceslas Square, the heart of the historic city.

Actually, a grenade was thrown from a passing car and exploded near a casino in a crowded shopping district at the heart of Prague's historic center.

This is said to be the attack of a rival criminal gang.

Eh, sorry, an off-topic laugh -- at how badly this new ad system works - you know, the one where some word is suddenly double-underlined in green and if you hover over it, an ad and link appears?

The father of the dscothek-owner was killed two years ago.

He (the father) was suspected of kidnapping, besides of some Israeli citizens, of a Nigerian ex-Minister as well.
His nom-de-guerre in the Israelean criminal scene was "The butcher".

After his dead, the European business was taken over by the son in Prague.

Ah. I had noticed the word casino in the report above. I'm sorry for Prague this had to happen; I haven't been there but hear the city is lovely.
