How many squares are on a checker board?


The checker board is made of 8 one inch squares by 8 one inch squares.


What is the total number of squares on the checker board?

Giving the answer would be like going to the book store an asking where the self help section is. If the clerk provides an answer it would be self defeating.

The total is 204 squars. That is the correct way to figure it.
