When I came across this, I started chuckling. I haven't encountered something like it on any site.

My name is Turlo Lomon. However, by placing Turlo Lomon as my signature, the url section disappears. I am guessing it is somehow recognizing it as a tag. This doesn't appear to happen in the normal post, just in the signature section. Any suggestions on how to get this to work? Thanks.

I initially thought that you wanted a URL in your name, to which I would have responded, be done: no URLs are allowed in one's signature.

However, you just want it to appear as Turlo, right? The signature box lets no tags, or any sort of formatting, into it. This gets rid of URLs, or anything that could be construed as codes.

Turlo, just add a space, e. g. Tur lo Loman.

The problem is that the program should not be stripping "url", but rather preventing it from being enabled. I just find it to be an amusing bug, that should be looked at. Yes, the space would work. However, this is technically a bug, and thought it should be looked at.

It's not a bug, stripping url is intentional but eventually (not a huge priority) I'll improve the code to avoid this kind of thing.
