In the U.S., may a physician hand a prescription order to his/her patient and then turn around and sell the prescribed drug to the cited patient by receiving the prescription order that he just wrote?
I have had a prescription written by Dr. , then walked down the hall to the pharmacy in the same building. Prescriptions can be filled right in the hospital, too. But I have never had the Dr. write and then fill it in his own office. He/she can give out samples, however.
@PUNKEY,
PUNKEY-
Thank you.
When you walk down the hall to the pharmacy, is the pharmacy owned by the physician?
