Problems and Concerns with Facebook Update

Yes I have suddenly lost all posts from one friend and cannot see her newsfeed, she has checked her settings, and hasn't blocked me, she can see my posts etc

Yes I have uninstall the mobile app for Android. With the last update it jumped to being awake 14 hours out of 16 hours using 85% of my battery.
It auto started over 700 times in the same time frame. The phone was in my pocket while I was at work. I took 1 15 minute call in that period. Other than that phone was inactive. Uninstalled app problem went away.

I am using wed browser until I hear that this issue is fixed.
