How to add an image to A2K in 6 painfully easy steps:

1. Navagate to "imgur.com." You can type those words in the browser address area each time, or perhaps if you're feeling adventurous, save it as a bookmark/favorite.

2. Click on "Computer" in the "Upload images" section on the page. You might have to look for this, but it's sorta toward the upper right of the page.

3. Navigate to your image on your computer. (Pretend you are going to email it to a friend.)

4. Click "Start Upload".

(Seconds later .... Voila ... your image is now hosted on the Internet!)

5. Copy the link to the image, which is found to the right of the displayed image. (I use the "BBCode" link, and just paste that directly into my A2K post -- it adds the IMG codes so I don't have to. Otherwise you can use the "Direct Link" and add those codes yourself.)

6. Paste the link into your A2K post (using the IMG codes if using the "Direct Link" method, or without using the IMG codes if using the "BBCode" method.)

(Voila again ... you have just added a link of your image to your post. Always preview to make sure it worked properly.)

Note: The IMG codes should like something like this, as they surround the link to your image in your post:
Code:[IMG]http://i.imgur.com/Kxym77c.png[/IMG]

facebook is also a good hosting site...

@lisaroll07,
Hoo hoo ,

This website may explain the meaning of the Owl:
https://www.spiritanimal.info/owl-spirit-animal/comment-page-3/

Owl Symbolism

Symbolic meanings for the owl are:

Intuition, ability to see what others do not see
The presence of the owl announces change
Capacity to see beyond deceit and masks
Wisdom
The traditional meaning of the owl spirit animal is the announcer of death, most likely symbolic like a life transition, change.

Is this what you have?

@bobsal u1553115,
What does that mean? Your vocabulary is a little advanced for I.

@Onetallgentleman,
I don't know either and my vocabulary, so far, is not all that bad. But, I sort of get him as meaning 'listen to your first take', even before you think.

Hi, bobsal. I assume you'll feel free to straighten me out on this..

@ossobuco,
Replying to self in a self oriented whine - I can't get into Flicker to see Bobsal's stuff since they can't text my cell phone to verify the number.. My cell phone, which number I gave them a decade ago, is a dumb phone, no texting going on.
I still use it. I'm presently wrangling with them.

Anyway, somewhere back there on a2k I saw Bobsal's art, liked it. Rarely put up my own, though I have, but I'm thinking of doing that (it will take a lot of work to cover the years).
Flicker is not a likely recipient now.

@Onetallgentleman,
Innocent (the child) intuitive(child is unschooled) arcane knowledge (the owl which has a long history as a familiar to sorcerers and associated with gods of wisdom, ie: Athena.

There are good books about symbolism, I prefer Jung's.

@ossobuco,
If you are an innocent with intuitive arcane knowledge you are pretty much using the force.

@ossobuco,
I've had a lot of trouble with Yahoo and the fact I haven't owned a cell or smart phone for almost ten years. I got locked out of my computer for about four months last year and it was a pain even to get Yahoo to respond. Even harder than getting MS to respond.

@bobsal u1553115,
I pulsed the Jung stuff off, as I was enveloped by Jung people. Rather like the nuns I was used to.

But, re value, keep reading and looking. Value varies.

@ossobuco,
I should probably add that I am often pleased by my owl hooting from my bird clock, at noon, a lot of years now, and still hooting, over various hours and birds. It's now an old clock, moving from nice into treasure.

@ossobuco,
Jung says that images are tribal and that the meanings are universal even on the sub conscience.
