Just a little problem. When posting responses, I often have to take my time (as I am somewhat long-winded). Unfortunately, while I am typing and mulling over which word to use, the system logs me out of my account. I guess it thinks I'm idle (it wouldn't be alone in this assumption). The problem is that when I get around to actually posting I get taken to the log-in screen. So I log-in again. But instead of posting my response, it deletes it! Arrgh!
I tried to get around this by copying my responses and pasting them. I tried pressing the back button. But every so often I forget to copy and the back button will take me to the original page instead of my carefully thought out response.
Question: Is there anyway to turn off the auto log-out or lengthen my posting time?
Yes. At the sign-in screen (
http://www.able2know.com/forums/login.php ), be sure to check
Log me on automatically each visit. Also, be sure that cookies are enabled. This will assure that your log-in will remain until you log out. Otherwise, log-ins expire after a few minutes.
Going to mark this one answered.
