There used to be heros, with swords and courage and mud on their faces.
And they had girlfriend, or princesses and blond women of dreams waiting for them once they returned.
Would these men/ women become angels past the point of death? Their heroism and adventures brought happiness and prosperity among those around them. What does it take for these days to have that impact on the world?
Can human's become angels? How? Why?
I have been led to believe that angels are a separate creation from humanity and don't actually die so don't need to be replaced. Presumably the exact number was determined at that point. Sorry.
However, welcome to A2K Scarlett!! Enjoy!
I've heard the same as Mr. Stillwater. There have always been a clear hierarchy of angels, from what I have read, and they are immortal, and also have no sexes. I thought that is was the creation of humans that led to the power struggle in heaven, and the subsequent tossing Satan out for his hubris in challenging god for the throne.
Yes I understand that, there are the several different steps in the angel "ladder", I suppose I should have clarified. Beneath that of the Arch Angels are the angels that help us in our day to day lives... that's what i mean, to become such as to help the rest of humanity through time.
There were the angels that were here seperate to the creation of humanity, perhaps we begin as angels and return to the Earth as mortals for one life time or another? Just an idea.
Humans can never become angels, as humans are too imperfect from the start of their being .

Don't forget the "angel of death".
More important; how many humans can dance on the head of a pin?
None.
It us too slippery.
Angels use himmelrosin on their wee slippies....
Now we're getting somewhere!
[er, what's "himmelrosin"?

You have to pass a test to become an angel. If you aren't aware of the test I'm talking about then you are part of the wrong religion. Keep looking!
Can human's become angels? Yes they can but first the human needs to pass the rigorous HAA (Heavenly Angel Above) exam. The test is only held once every five thousand years and no one ever passes it the first time. And you have to pass a drug test. Then there's the ten thousand years of training. Of course, it's worth it in the course of eternity to go through all this as the only other option is eternal damnation. Let us know what you decide!
Scarlet-.
You say "Would these men/ women become angels past the point of death? Their heroism and adventures brought happiness and prosperity among those around them. What does it take for these days to have that impact on the world".
In reply, It would be debatable if some twit who went out and killed for fun or whatever, could be a candidate for angeldum, but then again, if you "believe" in angels anything is possible.
