QUOTATION of the Day & FACT of the Day - Trivia for Tomorrow

Reply Thu 9 Jan, 2003 01:00 pm
Apologies for being late with this NEW topic - I really should have started it back on 1 January.

Each day, or on a series of days, I'll post a QUOTATION/QUIP as well as a FACT/TRIVIA contribution.

If there is some OTHER piece of Factual Trivia that you feel may be relevant for that day in History, then please feel free to post it on that day.

To begin with, I'll post the first eight days of this year that I've already missed.

I hope you enjoy the content. Smile

Can you provide who said each quote? Don't worry if it's too much trouble. I know Jan. 2, of course, but not the others.

Oh, and do you want this cross-posted in Quotes?

Some of the "quotes" are not quotes! They are "quips" made by persons unknown. If it is a "quote" then I'll put it inside quotation marks, and if I know the author, for future quotes, then I'll add it accordingly.

Yes, please cross-post to other Forums, thanks.
