duggary
The act of fondling young girls while they sleep. To be a duggar.
@blueveinedthrobber,
Never heard that word before.
Over here they're called kiddyfiddlers, paedos or nonces.
@Lordyaswas,
It's newly coined Lordy, in honor of that good christian Duggar family that the right wing politicians love so much. It's okay for their son to finger his little sisters because he hates queers and that means they, and Jesus of course, love him, forgive him and find no fault in his behavior. Priorities, doncha know.
@blueveinedthrobber,
Ah!
Nothing like a good Christian to demonstrate how twisted humans can be.
It reminds me of the old joke....
How do you make a Nun pregnant?
Dress her like an altar boy.
Who decided this was NSFW and why? I don't care, but I am curious

Well, Im grateful the Duggar show isn't being shown in the UK. This family has a reality show (sic) that spotlights a married couple while they single-handily populate their little corner of Deliverance, Yokeltown. Cameras follow them while the Mr. & Mrs. pop out little Duggars. So far they are at 19 and counting. One of the older offspring recently revealed (after exceeding the statute of limitations) that he inappropriately touched underage girls when he was 15.
Of course they are the darlings of the Christian Right. The Duggars are very anti-gay and work hard to prevent perverts from doing perverted things, everywhere except at the Duggar domicile.
the Duggars are your average common christian folk, this logic of theirs comes from accepting that others can find "forgiveness" by talking to their imaginary friend and pretending that religious belief is equal to scientific fact.
@jcboy,
In the days before television, when serfery was common, the Lord of the Manor could pay money to the Head Monk of the local Monkery, to effectively purchase a get out of hell card for future sinning.
He could then in theory go and pillage here and there, or ravage the local virgins and still guarantee entry through the Pearly Gates when he popped his clogs.
Good fun, this religion malarkey.
Kids make mistakes, and we should not make a habit of crucifying them. The dugger story though taps into two major current trends,,,,hostility towards Christians, and the market penetration of the feminist produced rape culture myth.
There was a regular trade in that, pursued by men known as Pardoners. Since the selling of indulgences was not a steady income, they also used to sell "relics." The common method was to get some pig bones from a butcher, then bury them in a sunny hillside to "age" them. When dug up, they could easily be sold, in small pieces, as the bones of St. Hildegith, or whomever. They didn't restrict themselves to bones, either. Straw as the savior's nativity bedding was popular; vials of Christ's blood was another one, as well as pieces of the true cross. One bishop in the 14th century observed that enough pieces of the true cross had been sold to build a cathedral out of wood. Especially after the Pope moved to Avignon in southern France, it was simplicity itself to grease the palm a papal clerk, and get a certificate "signed by the Pope" of the authenticity of the purported relic.
Lacking imagination, and with television not yet invented, Protestants just fined people for having a good time. Since the invention of television, Protestant televangelists have been making up for lost time. Then, of course, there's always politics.
No one really thinks indulgences were sold by the deeply religious do you ? Thats a bit gullible . Religion has always suffered from Atheists joining in for money . People like you lot, including homosexuals who join the priesthood so they can get boys . Not a ounce of religion amongst them .
Hawkeye the kid made a mistake okay we shouldn't pile on. It's the hypocrisy of his anti gay in the name of Jesus bullshit and the flocking of "christian" politicians to his side to keep their idiot base stirred up that brings ridicule and "crucifixion" down on this carnival of bullshit and it's well deserved. Ionus, you think that "we lot" have joined the church? To quote Sam Elliott, "You're a special kind of stupid aren't you?"
@blueveinedthrobber,
There is a difference between "you lot" and "like you lot" . One is you actually, and the other is similar to you . It suits your purpose to think of religious people the way you do, if they were nice people then your criticisms would mean you are all a pack of atheist hypocrits and bullies . Do you really think the devoutly religious carry on the way you think ? Those are atheists in religious clothing, and bear in mind 1 in 5 is mentally ill . That includes atheists and religious people . But you dont get that . You dont understand it so you think I'M stupid . Right answer, but misdirected .
@Ionus,
Homosexuals and people who join the church to infiltrate, hook up with young boys or make money are in NO WAY like me or my lot Sluggo. In addition I'm willing to bet that there are homosexuals in the priesthood who aren't pedophiles. Two different things. Nice try though
@blueveinedthrobber,
Im confused, are a few people defending the young (15 year old) Dugger who admits to molesting underage girls? Isn't he owning up to pedophile acts?
@glitterbag,
Defending no, but 15 year olds touching females without permission is not a new concept. Lets not crucify the guy if he learned from is mistakes and stopped. And lets not pretend that one hormonal teenager invalidates Christianity or condemns his family.
Some people don't seem to make the connection to the hypocrisy of the behavior of holier-than-thou holy rollers who condemn the morality of others.

Some people dont seem to have understood that Christians rarely/never claim to be without sin, or that humans are both good and evil....... that what we try to do if we are of good intentions is cut down on the evil that we do.
Good people also strive for redemption both in themselves and making allowances in others , and knowing that there but for the grace of God go I also attempt to approach those who do wrong with some measure of compassion.
You don't seem to know ****-all about the Duggars and their sneering condemnations of others. But then, you always shoot your mouth off without knowing ****-all about whatever subject is being discussed.
