Im looking for someone to help me identify some rocks I have found...
(The names of them)
Rock 1 :
Ignis
Redish/Dark orange in color
Visible Pores while was under pressure
Smells of Flowers or perfume
Red/Dark Orange pigment released when scratched
Rock 2:
Sedimentary Rock, formed from compacted sand
Rock 3:
Layered Sedimentary Rock, Visible grains, Stripe of gray quartz
4:
Unknown Type (marble?)
Very smooth, like a kitchen counter
Primarily White/light gray in color with gray and black splotches
@3rdRock,
without pictures its a silly guess. How do I know that youre not talking about silt when you say cemented sand.?
