BERLIN (Reuters) - Three men have tried to hijack a plane from Munich to Istanbul carrying 150 passengers but the pilot was able to return to Munich airport where special forces stormed the plane, German television has reported.
Bayerischer Rundfunk television reported that police said the pilot hit an alarm button after the plane, run by the company Free Bird, had been in the air for 10 minutes on Tuesday.

Was this Al-Quaeda or a few crackpot mavericks?
I can't find anything else on this right now, Boss, but i'll keep trying . . .
I don't think hijacks of planes will happen, because most of the passengers will not let it happen. Three against 150 doesn't sound like logical thinkers to me.

I don't see your point. Sorry?
I was just saying that i could not find any other news outlet which is running this story--so i have not found any more details on the incident than the ones you have given. This does not even appear at the Reuters web site . . .
I also did a Google and Yahoo search, and nothing turned up.
Yeah, i've been to BBC, Reuters, AP, UPI, CBS, MSNBC and CNN and can't find any more details . . .
link remove, just look on news.google.com ; because the link doesn´t work in the BB Code.
I just got this from AP, which is an update:
Latest Associated Press report
Edit: Ooops, that's AP, not Reuters
It seems it was only one man and not three.
Thok, I think your last link is stretching the page here...
Can you break it up please, Thok?
done,
yes, seeming only one man.
