How to View Saved Passwords in Google Chrome ?

Those days are gone when we had to remember passwords for each website we signup, but now web browsers has became smarter and all modern web browsers has got feature to save passwords so you don’t have to remember and type it for each time you login to websites. Well if you are a google chrome user and wondering where you can find all your saved passwords than here is the way by which you will be easily able to view saved passwords in Google chrome.
Google chrome is the most used web browser all over the world, the reason behind that is, it is faster and provides lots of features which makes web browsing more easy. The one feature of Google chrome and even of most of other browsers is to save passwords. Well it’s quite a handy feature but have you ever thought that when you save password on chrome where it is stored ? Even though you save password in chrome on phone it automatically gets saved in chrome on your pc too so is it safe to let Google servers synchronise passwords on all devices ? Well there is nothing to get worried about as passwords which you save in Google chrome are stored on your device itself and when they get synchronised between your devices they are 100% safe. Still if you are worried than you can view and manage your saved passwords in google chrome by following simple steps given below.
View Saved Passwords in Google Chrome
As I said earlier that all passwords are stored locally on device itself, so you can view your saved passwords even if your pc or laptop is not connected to internet. Without wasting more of yours and mine time let us begin to steps now.
1) Open Settings in Google Chrome and go to bottom of page and click on “Show advanced settings”, in that find Passwords and Forms and under that click on “Manage Passwords” Or you can simply open new tab and paste this URL – “chrome://settings/passwords” without quotes.
2) As soon as you will do this you will be able to see list of all websites and saved passwords (as shown in image below). To view password of any website simply click on that password and click on “show”.
3) In this way you can view saved passwords in google chrome, but if your windows or mac computer is password protected than it will ask you to enter password. Simply enter the password which you use to unlock your laptop and it will show up your password.
