Change Computers

I had to change computers due to a modem breakdown on my old HP.

When I went to log in on able2know, my password wasn't recognized. So I changed it. I finally got back in.

Is this the norm, when using more than one computer? Idea

ALSO: Will I have to use two different passwords for the two computers?

New Haven- I really don't know. At first I thought it might have something to do with "cookies" put on your computer. Then I realized that I have been able to get onto A2K from computers other than my own. I will have to confer with one of the computer "gurus" in the crowd. The important thing is that you are able to post now!

Umm.. ok, I'm confused... ( not at all unusual! Smile ) If you couldn't get logged in how did you change your password? Did you use the old machine? If so it sounds like what you thought your password was and what is actually was were different.

I use two machines daily and they use the same A2K account and password. No need for different passwords.

The modem on my old HP is broken. So, when I went to able2know.com, the system recognized NEW HAVEN but not my old password. So, I asked for a new password and then I changed the new to the old.

Basically, the system recognized NEW HAVEN but not the old password.

Why ? Have no idea. Maybe I didn't wait long enough. Too impatient.

There should be no password issues on different machines.

New Haven. Did you attempt to post the password more than once? Every once in awhile my password is rejected somewhere, and then I find that I had typed it in wrong. Embarrassed Since you can't SEE the password when it is typed, there is no way for you to know if you typed in in correctly.

Good news! The old modem is now working. The new password works for this computer and the other computer.
Why there was trouble earlier today...I don't know! Rolling Eyes
