@kickycan,
I am familiar with each of your top 5 funkiest song. I just disagree with the songs you listed being the top 5 funkiest song of all time. In my opinion the top 10 funkiest songs of all time in no particular order are:
1. Shake Your Pants--by Cameo
2. Glide--by Pleasure
3. Aqua Boogie--by Parliament
4. Peanut Butter--by Twennynine
5. Got To Be Enough--by Con Funk Shun
6. Do You Wanna Go Party--by KC and The Sunshine Band
7. Backstroke--by Fatback
8. Move Your Boogie Body--by Barkays
9. Bustin Out--by Rick James
10. Theme From The Black Hole--by Parliament

@panzade,
I see you that you feeling that smooth funky groove of Cameo's "Shake Your Pants. The term funk seems to have a different definition to different people. Suggest you check out a youtube video that you will get a kick out of. On youtube type in "Glide" Slap Bass String Breaker by Alfredo Guerrieri

One of the best Jazz songs that suits my taste is from the musical" Chicago". In the movie, ( maybe also on the stage), Queen Latifa sings "You be good to mama and mama will be good to you".

Lord, I love that song, more and more each day!
