I'm taking a speech class and I have to present a speech on a cultural artifact. I have some ideas but am not sure if they are considered worthy topics to present.
I was curious to know if Mayan temples are considered Cultural artifacts? Mayan Calendar, Tomatillo run, bull run..
Is there any ideas you could suggest to me to present about??
Thank you very much for any feed back you may give.

@gonzalezj554,
A cultural artifact is an object that derives from and illuminates the history of a particular community.

So, yes, the Mayan Calendar would be a good one. Almost anything found in museums would qualify.

Any hand tools created by humans would qualify, as would works of art. You probably have examples of these in your own family history. Does your family have photographs of great grandparents or favorite objects made by your relatives? How about a quilt or a painting created by a relative?
