Marty's (Martha's) voyage revisited

Do forgive me fellas if I seem to be repeating myself but I'm hoping this OP might attract the attention of an expert, a physicist maybe, amongst some 100,000 supposed participants, anyone who has honestly studied this sort of stuff

http://able2know.org/topic/263375-1

…..where I repeatedly insist that (by our reckoning) Martha's clock (almost) stops when she fires up from Phobos, reading 11:50 all the way from her home planet and arriving here at our noon, then continuing to read 11:50 as it rushes past

To save a newcomer ploughing through the entire thread, although her launch apparently stops her watch, owing to her acceleration as she approaches it appears to us as running very, very fast indeed, many times c

It's all elementary relativity but I feel like in my old age I must be unclear, or a victim of typos. Please help

@dalehileman,
Dale, please stop creating new threads to repeat the same thing ad nauseum. Anyone still interested has read it and chosen to either continue to participate or given up.

Your continuing game of the boy who cried wolf is only causing people to ignore your threads, not inspiring additional partticipation.

I was hoping to attract new participants. But, you should merely avoid my postings, I won't be the least offended

@dalehileman,
That is entirely the point. You have cried wolf so many times, people are no longer reading or responding. You have created an echo chamber for yourself.

Indeed But, that's what it feels like sometimes

Those of course are former participants. But with this OP I was hoping to rope in some new flesh, in hope of snagging an honest-to-god expert

@dalehileman,
You've already tried and failed in 5 other threads you've started for that purpose.

Here is a bit of history for you.

You introduced the Marty story here in someone else's thread.

http://able2know.org/topic/232832-1#post-5566008

Then you created your own thread on the subject and repeated your Marty theory and included a link to the other thread for people to refer to.

http://able2know.org/topic/233282-1

And again here with a link to another thread on the subject.

http://able2know.org/topic/241809-1

And again here

http://able2know.org/topic/264090-1

Again

http://able2know.org/topic/263988-1

Ditto

http://able2know.org/topic/263375-1

Ad nauseum

I'm flattered, But, by the attention

Yes I vaguely remember

Yes there I made mention of my crazy "relative relativity"

Yes But it is. I'm really impressed by your interest and determination

A very recent one. However it doesn't relate to my "crazy theory," merely to classical special relativity, which some apparently still deny

Again this one has nothing to do with my nutty idea about time-at-a-distance (as I announce at its beginning), is concerned entirely with standard old Einsteinian relativity

Yes But, here again I address my "relative relativity". I can understand how it might sicken some as it's so at odds with the usual view of time-at-a-distance

Very recent. This one also doesn't at all addresses my Weird Theory at all, but merely ordinary everyday relativity as known by The World At Large

But your befuddlement might arise from confusing my strange description of "relative relativity" and skewed version of time-at-a-distance, from my latest attempts to resolve Marty's trip here at (nearly) c by means of the classical, accepted principles of relativity

Clearly it was a mistake to suppose my respondents would realize these postings address different issues at different times since the typical correspondent probably isn't that deeply into the subject, so draws comparisons that aren't justified

Be assured that in any future such posting I promise to abandon my kooky version of time-at-a-distance, concentrating entirely on my attempt to explain the effect of standard special relativity on Marty's trip

Hope this has helped, But, and thanks again for your interest
