Modern inconvenience...

I'm starting to think that modern technology is more of a hassle than a convenience. I'd love to hear other people's thoughts.

In my view... computers are never "user friendly".
cell phones are a headache and a half... and just an extra bill every month.
There is a huge book of complicated instructions with everything you buy now.

I got rid of my cellphone a couple of years ago, and I will never get another one. However, my computer, with a cable modem, has indeed made things easier for me, working from home. I can do e-mail, answer the phone when online, and play when I want to. Smile

I think that the pros outweigh the cons; one only really has to buy what one needs: and, could anyone of us here imagine living life without A2K, or the friends that we would never have met if the internet did not exist?

I could do without it. I have no actual "needs" associated with the internet.

I just wish remote controls, DVD players, car stereos... were a little more user friendly Smile
