A lot on our TV about the storms etc in the US. Sad to see about the couple who just moved into their new house and lost their lives.
But a local family here just got the news that they were chosen for 'extreme home makeover' after their house was destroyed by flooding last spring.
Can't imagine such devastating storms, never experienced them here in my part of the country. Darwin was completely destroyed by a hurricane one Christmas Day in the 1970's.
Don't like homes being destroyed and lives lost.
Enjoying a quiet day I hope with no unexpected visitors turning up.

exceptionally blessed - I believe what we have dealt with is nothing. I am just glad it didn't come through the roof into the house while we were sleeping. It could have been a real trajedy. It is what kept me from wanting to go to sleep last night.
Watching the Red Sox and Cleveland even as we speak...good start to the game...4 - zip Boston played that first inning great!
