Got out to bbq and to see fireworks for the Fourth of July (Independence Day).
Ha, now I get it, somebody else mentioned fireworks earlier and I didn't click, how stupid of me not to recognise the 4th July.
I'm wondering what sorts of holidays the aussies use fireworks for...?
Keeping fire-works well away from everybody, they are prohibited here because of the bushfire danger. There is one spectacular one at midnight on the 31st December, in Sydney on the Harbour Bridge, this is televised around the Country. There are others ofcourse but by official permit only at certain times of the year.
Loved the fireworks display I saw Sunday night.
More concerned with the terrorist they arrested in Queensland.
Nowhere is safe from terrorists these days.
