I note from another thread along the lines, she has been a teacher at some stage of her life. Teacher

She comes across as still very wet behind the lugs to me, but I can handle that, girls do have a tendency to get carried away with silly notions.

Six months as a cook and bottle washer on an Australian sheep ranch would do her the world of good. She'd come back from there a pleasant little Sheila.

x-tremely mistaken my friend, this lady got it, I wouldn't call her a child, but a modern woman who knows how to handle men folk, in more ways then one, if you know what I mean.

Certainly not wet behind the ears if I interpret her vibes correctly, would love to take her for a 6 months spell to the Australian outback and see what she is really made of. One problem though, my wife wouldn't let me, because that's what I did to her.

Don't misunderstand me. I am now bored with the unneccessary argument above. At any rate, that phrase is in a book I'm reading and I am not being facetious, but would actually like to know what it means.
