Major traffic snarlups in our tiny town caused me to be half an hour getting a mile today.
"Never mind", I'm thinking. "She got there in one piece. Had the road been clear she might have smacked into a lamp-post and be sat in hospital with no teeth and her arm in a cast".
Preparing an early breakfast. No traffic snarls here, multiple lane highway take you straight into town. 12km from my place into the heart of the city

Reversing trend here, everybody is moving back into the city, the "in" thing for young married working couples.
Swings and roundabouts Dutchy, less expenditure in travel and running costs, but higher property concerns.
True, but young working couples here, make heaps of money and can afford it.
Unemotional about fresh air and open spaces, they like to jigaboo with the maddening crowd.
Very true, but they tell us we're 'squares' and know nothing.
