Never heard of him, but Google tells me he has put out an album called "My Life", are you recording that?

"One of These Days" is the name of the cd I am making. ( Not well known guy, plays in small clubs and college campuses. Saw him in Vegas @ Margaritaville.)

Perhaps I shall find some music from him on the Internet and see what your taste is like. Smile

Stupendously frustrated by British Telecom's inability to deal with my 90-year-old mother-in-law's phone problems, since their helplines are so automated, and their operatives in their Indian call centre so heavily Indian-accented that they are worse than useless. (Thanks for allowing me to vent that)

There you are Clary we're no orphans than here in the Colonies, we experience exactly the same problems downunder. Our great leader in the telephone business "Telecom" is absolutely useless as well. They are so bad that in our city of more than 1 million people there are still people who cannot connect to the internet. Imagine how our country people feel all left out in the cold. And don't mention Indian call centres, they ring us day and night trying to sell us their services, it has come to the stage I slam the phone down hard without even answering them, because you can tell its them calling. Having said that, I feel better too!

Undoubtedly a good thing to let off steam - but beware of slamming down the phone, because it might then go wrong... mum-in-law's phone sometimes works 'if I hit it really hard a few times'....

Very good advice, perhaps it may be better to let them ramble on for a while, then hang up, costing them money.

X-tremely frustrating here as well, getting someone on the phone half way across the world with an accent so heavy they can't be understood let alone be helpful. Not to mention they are taking jobs away from Americans, who also need them! It is good to vent!! Evil or Very Mad
