Unfussed.
I don't have a deadline, as such; I have to transcribe and translate a lot about my travels-- I WILL post the link, now that I'm thinking about it-- but every minute that I spend doing that means that I'll have to write about the minute that I'm writing about the previous minute in, after; so there's a lag.)
Oh! Do you have the poem with you?! I'd love to read!
Very pleased you asked:
May I present Lauren's poem,
Genevieve
New born baby, soft and sweet,
In your crib so fast asleep.
When you wake Mother's face you meet,
And into Father's arms you keep.
Beautiful and Graceful are you,
In the bright sunshine.
And from the windows Mother and
Father come to see you shine.
They come to see you Smile
and Coo,
Their blessed baby,
Most loved are you.
I'm impressed, but how can I help the maternal pride of a mother in her 10-yr.-old! What do you think?
Yes, I agree and I thank you for your assessment. It means a lot coming from you. I hope she will continue to write. I think she will. She also just informed me she'd like to take violin lessons from the neighbor across the street who just happens to be principle violinist in the symphony. Definitely going to encourage that!
Z-ridden: ah! get rid of these Zs. They bite and scratch.
Oh, the violin; how wonderful! I always wanted to play the violin; maybe I should start. Oh; you know her stories? Does she show them just to you, or to many people?
Ah, give me the zzzzzzzzzzzz's!
I think you should take up the violin. You'd be a mucical writer - or do you already play something?
Lauren shows her stories to anyone who will read them! While I'm bragging, she's also a little entrepeneur! She's been making bracelets and selling them.
Can you send them overnight?! ; )
Cool, you're musical! I sing, used to play the flute and have tried to play the piano, but can't for the life in me play with both hands. Guess I'll just settle for listening to those who can (and sing). Sigh.
I think you'd like each other. I hadn't thought of the web site thing. I'm not sure... She makes them out of a plastic-type thread made specifically for jewelry making. I got her started. I make mine out of glass beads and she makes hers from all different kinds, mainly plastic, but nice looking. It's hard to describe.
(Can you still play the flute, if you pick it up, Dev? I shoult bet that you could sing (and that I probably would like her too.))
Enjoys Dylan a lot too (both Dylan Thomas and Bob Dylan specifically.)
For goodness sake! I can still play, but not anywhere near as good as I used to play! It's been a while since I've picked up.
Guitarist of sorts but really enjoy it.
Just wondering: would anyone care to hear me play the tuba?
K, Gus, I would love to hear you.
Loth to disagree with drom on this one, but...
My name really isn't willow
