Love that commercial, and I do remember what he is advertising. It's Travelosity.
What I'm wondering is..what is that cute accent? I know it's a voice over.
He last visited Italy and asked the Thinker by Rodin.
"Don't be silly. It's just a knock knock joke."
Then on to the Statue of David.
My word, moving swiftly along. (his cone hat blocking the obvious)
Ends with "Don't forget your hat"

hes a cement lawn statue fer Chrissakes. They sell em all over the South and you paint em .
His mannerisms are Brit. Remember his first commercial and he hurt his whoopsadaisey. Only brits and pa dutch even use that word.

Another thing. He looked at Venus and said:

A young friend of mine told me that Travelosity sucked.
Too bad. The first commercial that I've seen in a while that I really like, (next to the Gecko, that is)
i like the gecko, when he and this guy are drivin along and headboppin to a song on the CD. Both of em have these lame sunglasses.

I think I understand now. The voice over adapts the vernacular of the different places where the travelogue may choose to take us. Wonder if he'll ever do 'Merican English.
