Can anyone tell me what this may be or what the transfer process is called. I have about ten of these, all Rembrandts work and all presented by the KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. I can't find anything online about it. Thanks
@Ciranelli86,
Sorry but I must be missing something 'cause the answer is written below in the print. Did you read it?
@Ragman,
Yes... It explains the process "using cutting edge technology to mimic heliogravure". I'd like to know what the process is called. And I would like to know the reason behind the issuing of these.
@Ciranelli86,
The process is called ... "hologravure": printining process by which great continuous 3D depth is achieved using textures and patterns.
Perhaps you find more answers at the wikipedia report about
photogravure.
@Ciranelli86,
Airlines are giving away Rembrandts?
@Ciranelli86,
If they are etchings you need to find out what pressing they are, as the quality degrades with each pressing.
