@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comment and personal acknowledgement, Mark, and you sent me searching:

Here is the trailer to that legend:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYHt8SdUj-U

and our poem for today by e.e.cummings:

He broke all the rules:

N Just-
spring when the world is mud-
luscious the little
lame baloonman

whistles far and wee

and eddieandbill come
running from marbles and
piracies and it's
spring

when the world is puddle-wonderful

the queer
old baloonman whistles
far and wee
and bettyandisbel come dancing

from hop-scotch and jump-rope and

it's
spring
and
the

goat-footed

baloonMan whistles
far
and
wee

Here is Anna Bergendahl again with a pretty song that she wrote herself. It is about a bittersweet encounter in Barcelona between two lonely people.

@Letty,
The Krakatoa explosion of 1883 caused widespread temperature around the globe, and may in part be responsible for the particularly cold winter of 1887.

Quote:
Obvious.

"The Elements are out of order," says
A Newspaper. 'Tis true; in various ways,
Earthquakes, volcanoes, storms, are raising ruction.
But all this shindy upon sea and shore,—
Earth, air, fire, "water,—only proves still more
The need of " Elementary Instruction.

Actually Krakatoa is West of Java. (check out a map) The film people thought East of Java sounded better, and nobody would notice.

@edgarblythe,
As you know, Mark, I love Norwegian Wood.

Do you remember Cyracuz? He was a
con·sci·en·tious ob·jec·tor. I played that one him.

Hope he is alright now:

Glad to have England with us today as I learn from him.
