I'm glad to hear Beth is feeling better.

Not stormy here at the moment, but I still enjoy "keeping warm".

Goggle translator is a lyrics killer specially in poetry which is way above my head...nonetheless I gave it a go and tried poorly to correct some very basic nonsense "Chinese". I hope you enjoy the candour of this vintage precious gem of the Portuguese pop 80's !

Quote:
Cinderella ! (First love)

They are two children living up young hopes, with a candour smile.
She has blond hair while he has treasures to share.
In the school playground, they go right to the edge, always without speaking.
They look embarrassed and are boyfriends without anyone knowing.

They went together another day, as if by magic, on the bus, standing up.
Shy he said, "My name is Peter, and what is yours?"
She blushed a little bit and said softly, "I'm Cinderella."
When the night wrapped him he fell asleep and dreamed of her ...

So,
Knock, knock your heart beats out strong!
Dancing crazy, crazy with illusion!
As age like this has no price.
Growing up,
Will give you time to learn,
Will work you to live
Your first love.

Cinderella of stories, to revive memories, to indulge some mystery.
She has already made him walk on the moon, in the middle of the street while raining seriously.
Later, when she saw him, soaked and cold, she almost embraced him.
With his face so wet, no one noticed, he even cried ...

So,
Knock, knock your heart beats out strong!
Dancing crazy, crazy with illusion!
As age like this has no price.
Growing up,
Will give you time to learn,
Will work you to live
Your first love.

And now, in the recess, they go on long walks, they make many plans.
They divide their lunch, just like trading birthday gifts...
...In one of those good moments, there were feelings in the air speaking for them in silence.
He took her hand gently and whispered, "You know Cinderella, I like you ..."

So,
Knock, knock your heart beats out strong!
Dancing crazy, crazy with illusion!
As age like this has no price.
Growing up,
Will give you time to learn,
Will work you to live
Your first love.

Cinderella

So,
Knock, knock your heart beats out strong!
Dancing crazy, crazy with illusion!
As age like this has no price.
Growing up,
Will give you time to learn,
Will work you to live
Your first love.

@George,
Good late morning from here in our Florida radio station.

Hurry back, George, and thanks for your comment on my Beth.

Locked Down by Dr. John was great.

Filipe, my long time friend. Cinderella is a magic miracle, but when
I tried to play it, I found it was a copyright violation here.

Three songs now.

First one my friend from Portugal will appreciate.

@George,
Good morning, dear friend. It's bright and sunshiny here in our
Florida radio station.

Love The Boogie Woogie Santa Claus; The Christmas Jug Band Dear Simon
and Garfunkel (sad about Paul Simon).

Especially enjoyed Leon and Dr. John's Frosty the Snowman.

Have a bunch of songs today on Christmas Eve.

This song is based on a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow:

Now, dear Billy Joel:

Another legend, and we changed the lyrics to read:
