@ehBeth,
I really enjoy Robert, ehBeth.
Hurry back, gal.
Welcome back, George, and I love that snow song by
Herb and his Brass bunch.
Been having a few problems with my equipment here, so
I hope ,my contributions work.
I have always been fascinated with this poet, but
first, a tribute to "the belle of Amherst."

Now, two poems by her that I think are fantastic:
This is my letter to the world,
That never wrote to me,--
The simple news that Nature told,
With tender majesty.
Her message is committed
To hands I cannot see;
For love of her dear country
Judge tenderly of me.
.I ’M nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody, too?
Then there ’s a pair of us—don’t tell!
They ’d banish us, you know.
How dreary to be somebody!
How public, like a frog
To tell your name the livelong day
To an admiring bog!
