@Letty,
Ah, I love listening to Judy Collins -- "Judy Blue Eyes" -- who is still going
strong.

@George,
Glad you enjoyed Judy, George.

Well, there really was a St. James Infirmary where a little
girl was born and lived for about 38 minutes then died.

Here's Van the Man:

Perhaps he'll get our Irish friends back in. Smile

Remembering happier times now, when Ellinas said that the rosy fingered
dawn was the epithet to the Odyssey. I called him our pug nosed Greek:

Latin George, you hurry back as well. I learned a lot from you such as the difference between tilting and fencing and that Collin was no longer fencing,
but rock climbing. Smile

The Beatles:

In the early days of radio, I also met Dan Lucas and he had
parkinson's disease. Also learned about chrons disease from Lew Dewit of the
Statler Brothers.

@Letty,
St. James Infirmary reminds me of the last time we were in New Orleans.
A street band was playing it in Jackson Square.

Well, I made it through the night, Latin George.

That street band in New Orleans sounded like a good memory. Minor Conception was major. Smile

Loved Diane and that guy doing Let's Fall in Love as well.

The wind is still blowing here but the sun has returned and it reminded
me of this song:

@Letty,
Thank you for the weather report, both prose and in song. Is there more

@George,
Latin George, Loved Someone Else is Steppin' In by Ernestine.

Here's another report:

A few hours after landfall, Hermine had weakened into a tropical storm, according to the National Hurricane Center.
All hurricane watches and warnings were dropped, but tropical storm warnings remained for parts of the Florida Gulf Coast, Georgia and up through North Carolina.

Today is the anniversary of the first teacher in space.

Christie will always be remembered just as dear John Denver.

Now Glenn who is still alive at 80, but has some problems.

I'll now let the Platters apologize for me. Smile
