@George,
Ah, my dear friend George. How tragic. How Can I Keep from Singing was
a good dedication, and here's one to match:

Where did everyone go? Smile

Thinking of Roger and Robert again. I once told Robert that this lady had
a voice like Billie Holiday.
Roger and I had fun discussing this song.

back later, dear friends.

@Letty,
That's very moody and melancholy rendition of "September Song".
But, then again, it's a very moody and melancholy song.

It reminds me of this:

That time of year thou mayst in me behold
When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang
Upon those boughs which shake against the cold,
Bare ruined choirs, where late the sweet birds sang.

In me thou see’st the twilight of such day
As after sunset fadeth in the west;
Which by and by black night doth take away,
Death’s second self, that seals up all in rest.

In me thou see’st the glowing of such fire,
That on the ashes of his youth doth lie,
As the deathbed whereon it must expire,
Consumed with that which it was nourished by.

This thou perceiv’st, which makes thy love more strong,
To love that well which thou must leave ere long.

@George,
Latin George, your "twilight" without music, made me think of Twilight of the Gods by Wagner (pronounced Vagner), but I won't go into that one, dear friend.

Loved Take it from a Friend and It reminded me of What a Friend we Have in Jesus. Smile

Here's another twilight song take from a poem by Tennyson.

Do you remember The BeeGees? It's a sad song .

Now, a sad song for Hank. All three of these guys are gone, but Glenn is alive at 80. <sniff>

In spite of it all, I think Roger is still handsome and to my heart he'll carry
the key. Smile

@George,
Ah, my long time friend, thanks for your comments and welcome back.

Lloyd Cole and the Commotions doing Perfect Skin was great and it
reminded of this great performer.

Glad I'm not once, twice, three times a Letty. Smile

Ah, miss my friends, and glad that Latin George is still one.

Saying good afternoon with two songs.

First, Andrea doing a bird of peace:

Now, as I think most of us know, the hawk, is a sign of war:

@George,
Good "thor's day", dear friend. Thanks for your comments on the hawk and the dove. You Are My Sunshine is a golden oldie. I think it was written
by a politician, but I'm not certain.

Three songs for the morning here in our Florida radio station.

First, two by Judy Collins:

Now, one by Jaye and the Americans that my daughter likes:
