@edgarblythe,
Ah, Mr. Creator, thanks again for your comment.

The Beatles are right about love. They got their name
from Buddy Holly's crickets.

My favorite psalm in the bible is the 23 psalm.

as edgar has often observed, one doesn't have to be a theist
to enjoy church music:

back later dear friends.

As we know, Buddy Holly was the only one to wear glasses
when he performed and Andrea Bocelli is the only blind man not to wear glasses:

Saying good afternoon with Babs and Andrea.

From Letty with love to all of her friends wherever you are.

Hurry back, dear friend. I had no idea that Hank did Moaning the Blues.

My favorite by him was I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry. <sniff>

Odd, today is Hank Williams, Jr's . birthday, but I won't go into that.

It's Peggy Lee's birthday. (had no idea that she had died)

Here is one of my favorites by her:

Now one by Anita O Day and I sang it so long ago:

ah, I was hoping Glitterbag would play her version of St. James Infirmary.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Mr. Creator, good to see you back here, and once again thanks for
your comment. Really enjoy Anne Murray. Did she do "til I Waltz Again With You"?

Here's one that explains some things to me:

Well, Letty got her song mixed up again. Anyone surprised? Smile

First Glenn Campbell sang a song for the little girl in True Grit;

Then, there were two versions of the movie:

Lloyd Bridges and John Wayne(today was his birthday)

It's the first time he won an academy award.

Chet Baker's song was for my late husband. Sad

Here's a tribute to Hank's son:

Mr. Creator, Loved both of your songs especially the one for dads

My dad was in WWI and we can do both for Memorial Day and daddy. Smile

@Letty,

Hello you radio peeps, and especially Miss Letty.

We're playing this suite at the Manchester Histories Festival next month. Joun Foulds, the composer, was a Manchester Man who played the cello in the Halle Orchestra around 1900.
I hope you like it. It's a wee bit Scottish, strangely enough.
