@izzythepush,
Welcome back, my long time friend from England. Loved Blondie doing Rapture, but this is my favorite one by her:

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Mr. Creator, thanks again for your comment and I don't know Don't by the king. Smile

Here's the first one that I heard by him and I became enchanted by it. (we know about his twin, of course.)

Open the door and let in my friends. Don't know why Bert Lee can't get in here.

Today is Queen Victoria's birthday, and for some reason it reminded me of this One:

and here are the Smothers Brothers.

edgar and I both miss The Smothers Brothers.

Here's one by Nat King Cole. My late husband loved that trio:

Back in a bit. Smile

I have an album of Nat's trio's best known songs. Great stuff.

When I think of Queen Victoria, I think of this by Leonard Cohen

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Mr. Creator, I love Queen Victoria by Leonard Cohen, and thanks again for your comment on Nat.

Saying good afternoon with Johnny, but first a bit of info on this
fantastic singer:

John Royce "Johnny" Mathis is an American singer of popular music and jazz. Starting his career with singles of standard music, he became highly popular as an album artist, with several dozen of his.

I've had this going through my head all day. I think it might have been the first mainstream use of rap, but don't quote me on that.

I think you're right Izzy, I didn't recognize it right away because it was a softer sound.

Johnny Mathis - I lost my album with this song on it, by Johnny. It took me several years to find a replacement.

@edgarblythe,
Edgar, I heard a tune on the radio tonight when I drove out of the neighborhood....it was the Hollies singing Stop Stop Stop all the dancing. I can't find a link for it, and it's a little bit of a novelty song but it makes me smile when I ear it. (Heavy hands are grabbing at my dollar, throwing me on the street)

Good "Wodin's" day from our Florida radio station:

Latin George, T-Bone doing Papa Ain't Salty was great.

Hey, Mr. Creator, Hello Young Lovers by The Hollies was good as well.

glitterbag, George Clooney (sp) doing The Soggy Bottom Boys was
one I really enjoyed. He was Rosemary's nephew.

I remember sometime back when Latin George did a pun
on Dean Martin's Amore:

"when you step on an eel and he bites at your heel that Amoray. Smile

First a sad song to match George's Papa:

Now, a couple by Van the Man:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0DJ8hWgNes

There really was A Saint James Infirmary, and a little girl
was born there and died 38 minutes later.

Hope this works; been having a few problems with my computer.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Thanks Mr. Creator. Love Harry doing Lucy's Door.

Well, we know that you were in the navy, and Monday is Memorial day, so keep sailing. Smile

I was beginning to wonder about our friends, so maybe Stevie will help us get
them back.
