@yitwail,
Thanks for this refreshing take on the Ajanruez concerto.

Good Saturday morning here from our Florida Radio Station.

Honu, loved Night and Day by Sergio. Latin George, thanks for your comment and what a surprise to find out that Al did a cover of Johnny Mercer's song.

Hey, Mon Ami, liked both of your telephone songs.

Hope I didn't get the transcripts mixed up. Smile

Today is Lincoln's birthday, and here is one to him by Walt Whitman:

Now one for brother John.

Frère Jacques, Frère Jacques,
Dormez-vous? Dormez-vous?
Sonnez les matines, sonnez les matines
Ding ding dong, ding ding dong.

English Version:
Are you sleeping, are you sleeping?
Brother John, Brother John?
Morning bells are ringing, morning bells are ringing
Ding ding dong, ding ding dong.

Now another Brazil:

@tsarstepan,
Welcome back my long time friend. Basia doing Infamous was fantastic. Didn't know her, so once again thanks for the introduction.

Here's one by Peggy Lee that reminded of the smile that I got from my late husband. The first one.

That version of "Brazil" was very good, Letty.

Here's Badly Drawn Boy, in a live performance of "One Plus One Is One":

@Olivier5,
Welcome back to you as well, Mon Ami. Fantastic song by that man. Love that comparison. I especially enjoyed the flute. Thanks for your comment on Brazil:

Here a lady playing the flute that is truly good:

Good morning. I like that song Peggy Lee sang.

Here is Judy Collins
Leonard Cohen wrote the song but never recorded it

@ehBeth,
ehBeth, you're most welcome. They played a lot of instruments collectively. The late Collin Walcott on sitar & tabla studied with none other than Ravi Shankar.

And Olivier5, I think Jim Hall & co. really captured the melancholia of Aranjuez in their rendition.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Mr. Creator, as you, I love dear Bobby Darin and I think that song was about the buddy system in the fox holes.

Looks as though we're two of a kind again. Smile

I never hear the Pied Pipers that I don't think of Robert Browning.

The idea of that fantastic poet is to pay what you owe.
