@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comment and personal acknowledgement.

Love I'll See you in my dream. We both like the golden oldies.

Going to say good afternoon with two songs.

First, inspired by Neil's Heart of Gold. Here's Blondie:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGU_4-5RaxU

Now, as edgar knows, I used to think these guys were British, but they're from Texas:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVAJfFn7lCc

Regardless, I still think I have friends here.

From Letty with love to all of them. Smile

@Olivier5,
This is a lengthy track but it has birthday man Sir Roland Hanna on piano, with a stellar cast including Jim Hall, guitar, Paul Desmond, alto, and Chet Baker, trumpet. Best jazz version of the famous Rodrigo composition, in my opinion.

@yitwail,
How are you do'n buddy? Was in Hawaii last month for 9 days to visit with my sister and brother in law in Oahu. We stayed at my nephew's condo just a couple of blocks from the beach. Ready to go back to enjoy the warmth.

Good "Thor's" day from here in our Florida radio station.

Ah, me, my computer genius won't be back until late tonight. <sigh>

It's always great to have Canada and Hawaii with us as well as Rome via France.

Good to see "See EYE" with us as well. Smile

Three songs for the morning here.

First, another tribute to Thor:

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Mr. Creator, didn't know that one, but my Mamma loved Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians. I always liked what she liked.

A confession, y'all. I liked "the big bopper" best of the three RIP.

Remembering funny times when my late husband and I lived in West Virginia. If I was late getting home, he would look our the window and see me waiting to cross the road by looing back and forward, and he told me that he recognized me because my pony tail kept going back and forth. Smile

The Big Bopper was a very good songwriter, too. He wrote the George Jones hit White Lightning and the Johnny Preston song, Running Bear.

@Letty,
Ms Letty, thank you. For listeners who may not know, Aloha Oe was composed by Queen Lili'uokalani, Hawai'i's last monarch, while she was under house arrest by the so-called Committee of Safety.

aside to Ms Letty, I tried to reply to your last email but it bounced.

I once thought Marty Robbins was Hawaiian, mainly because of his album of Hawaiian songs.

It's alright, honu, my email worked great for a while, but seems to be back to black again.

edgar, loved that one by Marty. Thanks, Mr. Creator
